We understand that waiting for test results can be worrying. Please be aware that different tests take different lengths of time to come back — some are ready in a day or two, while others may take several weeks.
When we receive your results, we will contact you directly if anything needs follow-up or treatment.
If your results are normal and no action is needed, you might not hear from us. But you can now check your results yourself using online services, like the NHS App.
Getting your test results
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS App or NHS website)
- in your Patient Access account
- by phoning us on 0161 445 9000 after 10am to get your results, or ask them to be sent by secure text message

If you wish to discuss your results with a clinician, please fill in a PATCHS form online.
If you are unable to do this or require assistance, please call 0161 445 9000 or visit the practice in person.
