The Patchs Telephone Assistant

We’ve recently introduced the Patchs Telephone Assistant to help improve how you contact the practice.

We encourage all patients who can to continue using PATCHS online, as this is the quickest and most efficient way to request help or make an enquiry.

However, we understand that some patients find online systems challenging, that’s why we’ve introduced the Patchs Telephone Assistant, a simple and convenient way to tell us about your health request without waiting in long phone queues.

What is the Patchs Telephone Assistant?

The Telephone Assistant allows you to leave a voice message about your request, which is automatically and securely sent to our team for review, just like an online Patchs form.

There’s no need to wait on hold or complete an online form yourself.

How It Works

Call the Practice: Dial our usual telephone number.

Choose the Option: When prompted, Select the Telephone Assistant (available 8:00–10:00am and during busy periods).

Answer a Few Questions: Provide your name, date of birth, and a few details so we can identify you.

Leave Your Message: Describe your medical request or concern.

We Take Over: Your message is securely sent to our team, who will review it and contact you as soon as possible.

Important Information

Using the Telephone Assistant is completely optional.

If you have any communication difficulties or would prefer to speak directly with a receptionist, we’re still here and happy to help.

Our team may also offer to transfer you to the Telephone Assistant during busy periods so your request can be taken quickly.
