Appointment suspension – Due to the risk of coronavirus infection

Following local and national NHS guidance we are no longer able to book routine appointments. If you have a routine appointment booked with a GP, this will now be converted to a telephone consultation.

Please do not come into the practice unless asked to do so by a doctor. Emergency telephone appointments are available every day but are not pre-bookable. Please log any queries of a routine nature via our website

Non-essential nurse appointments will also be cancelled and will need to be re-booked at a later date.

Attendance at Barlow Medical Centre will only be available to patients who have been asked to come in by the doctor or member of staff, where a face to face consultation is essential.

The childhood vaccination programme is going ahead but the timings will change to reduce the number of people attending the practice at one time. Please ring to arrange on the day that your child’s vaccinations are due and only one parent should attend with the child.
